You must be at least 17 years old and fluent in English — able to speak, read, and write it. No prior experience is required; most students start with a $99 Discovery Flight.
The FAA minimum is 40 hours of logged flight time, plus passing a written exam and a checkride. We recommend two lessons per week for steady, consistent progress.
It varies with your pace, but our simulator offsets expensive aircraft time and our 'learn, don't rent' approach minimizes wasted hours. Ask us for a transparent estimate during your discovery flight.
